Soaps from last week
Soap week in review: To the left is Hint of Gardenia. The scent is not that pleasing out of the bottle, but in the soap, it is very light. Reminds me of the Yardley Soap my Grandma gave us to use when we were younger.
At the top is Coral Sands. It you love Pink Grapefruit you will love this smell. Citrus and Sweet at the same time.
At the bottom right is Blue Hawaiian. Named after the scent used, but it takes fruity to the maximum. Smells like Starburst on steriods. LOL. You might get a cavity with this one. Just kidding.
We have a huge show in May and will making soap at least 3 times a week. This week scrubs will be in production.

Soaps Made this Week!
I have been a busy bee this week making Peppermint Soap and an Energy Soap for my hubby. Here are the pictures below:
Peppermint Soap:
The picture on the bottom in the middle is an Arby's Andes Mint Peppermint shake. I have been looking at that image for at least 8 months dreaming of creating a peppermint soap that looked like it. I think I did a good job. I think I will pipe the white on the top of the soap next time.
Energy Soap:
I brought some "manly scents" from New Directions and one of the fragrance oils was called Energy. My hubby gravitated to it and wanted a soap using that scent. I wanted to add some kind of colors to the soap to symbolize that. So I ended up on pinterest and found the color combo on the top left. Next to it is what the soap looked like when it was wet. The other pictures are when it was cut. The colors look good on the top, but kind of morphed when I cut them on the inside. I love the color combos and I will probably try a different technique where we can see the individual colors. The fragrance oils smells great.
Well I hope you enjoyed what we have been doing in the lab. The Peppermint Soap will be available in six weeks.
Our next posts will feature a small business and what soaps we have available RIGHT NOW!
Have a great Day!

Your Girl is Back!
Hello World,
I know you have missed me as much as I have missed this blog. Looking back on a few of the post I have written over the years has shown me how much I have changed. But we are still here grinding and hustling to with Shea Bath Products and mastering our craft to bring you great bath products and to educate you on what is great for your body.
I have been primarily posting my Shea Bath shenanigan on facebook. You can see what's happening over here. I will dip in and out of my blog to post pictures of what is up and coming for Shea Bath as well as what is going on in my personal life. What I wish to make public. :)
The weekend is here and you know what that means. Time to make soap.
